Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

I've given up on sleep

Too many unknowns, too much anxiety. Tomorrow will be long, but I hope at least it will be done by the end of the day. I can't take too many sleepless nights.

Yep, nice to know that all the sleepless nights sitting on bridge calls or getting projects done during holidays while your manager asks when it’ll be done finally paid off…not. Hopefully next ventures are more respectful of our lives.

I’m hoping to pull off the rare feat of landing a new job shortly after being notified and being able to claim severance and start a new job. I have a final interview tomorrow. I started looking heavily in October when that round of layoffs happened. I knew that was just the beginning and a much bigger wave that we are seeing now was coming. I figured I’d be swallowed up in this wave and sadly I was right.

This company's people always made it like family. It's sad to see what is happening. I wish the best to those directly impacted.

Same! It’s all chaos and confusion.
We don’t deserve this at all. Layoffs are normal and I’ve seen my friends being laid off, but this is just a mental torture.
Whatever happens, it’ll lead us to something better.
