About severance package in Canada

Does anyone know at what rate TR gives severance for Canadian employees? In US I knew it seems 2weeks per year of experience capped by max 26 pay. As per canadian ESA, it seems 1 week per year of experience.

Layoff would bring me relief

It is unnecessary to talk about how TR does not value its employees and how badly it treats them. I totally understand those who are afraid of losing this job, but I have reached the breaking point and I think that a layoff would even bring me a... — read more

Data organization VPs cannot sum in excel

I am so curious to how my boss’ boss’ boss was hired and her peers. The two ladies here in Toronto who are data VPs and one in data CX who is like an SVP have zero clue about technology, let alone data. Just because they were the data officer’s... — read more

I'm done fearing layoffs

What's the point? My alternative to cuts is to stay here and be saddled with even more work. I can't take that anymore. They have decided that even if we are already heavily understaffed and have to do the work of two people in the least, we don't... — read more
