I felt exactly like a lot of you that are still there. The hardest part was pulling the trigger on a new path. Financially, it was 35k+ more that what I was getting at TR. I could not believe that we were soo underpaid and valued. It’s never too late, but do not wait around and make it harder. Severance means nothing if you cannot land anything beyond that.

What are the base product salaries like in TR-4/5 positions?
For TR, if you live in a high-cost location, the ELT sees you as worthless; that they can get your skills cheaper elsewhere. If you live in a low-cost location, the ELT sees you as a labor "bargain" where they can buy you cheap. In either location, you're not going to be compensated for your efforts. Might as well do the least amount possible.
Agreed. Laid off a few years ago. Current job now pays over twice as much with a higher title and easier workload.
