So word is most Noble employees working on the field level are safe IF this merger happens. At least for a year. Then they’ll probably end up selling most of the assets in Texas. Opinions? Anyone heard anything?

Anyone know if the severance is going to have non-compete type language? The Chevron page eludes to its in their current layoffs. Seems pretty ridiculous.

Got details of the CoC severance packages today. Seems pretty reasonable. I guess there are worse things than being laid off from an oil company.
