I cannot sell the stocks after being laid off

I tried to get rid all the stocks at 50% discount and my broker rejected due to out of range. What should I sell at now? I bought some at $50, $60 a few years ago. I tried this selling price at 50% OFF of $200 (not success out of range), 50% OFF of... — read more

Any updates on RTO?

Has anyone on full remote status received any communication about changes or new expectations? Just trying to understand if things are shifting quietly or if there’s anything official going around.

They'll focus on firings

It wont be a layoffs. They will use failure to comply with company policies (e.g. netflix at work, not returning to office enough) to fire people for cause (no severance) This makes a lot of sense. if the goal are maximum cost savings, eliminating... — read more

Branding 101

I posit there would be substantially less psychological fear and trauma if layoffs were instead called whack offs. It’s the same end. But the means to getting to it just sounds much more fun.

Ladies fired me

With the round effectively done

I can’t help but notice that the managerial class wasn’t trimmed nearly as much as it should have been, while too many skilled people were let go. Once again, the criteria for layoffs seemed to be driven mostly by numbers, not by actual performance... — read more

Middle-level managers were not laid off but transitioned to Individual Contributors. This is how the organizational layers were reduced. However, upper-level managers still retain their direct reports.

What if LBT Leaves Intel?

Is there a continuation plan in place, or will Intel be felt flat-footed (again) if LBT decides he wants to go to Los Angeles and give the Lakers some depth at the 4? Bron at least needs one more ring to match Kobe.

Are all notifications done?

I know last 2 weeks people have been notified if they were impacted. Are there notifications this week too? Or is Intel done with this phase of layoffs in the USA?
