I spent 30 years as a supplier to Intel and was consistently treated with arrogance and dishonesty by the heads of procurement. I hope all the senior procurement people get dumped; they deserve it. It is an absolute hoot to watch TSMC clean the floor with the Intel fools. Got my popcorn and loving the show!!!

@OP if you remember their names call them out. Hold them accountable. Contact their new employers and tell them what stand up people they are!
This is valuable insight about real world interactions between 2 groups of p1ssants. I also heard the guy who orders the syrup for the cafés was rude one time.
Intel rarely endeared itself to vendors and as they protected their fiefdoms, they protected their legacy infrastructure and road it right into in the ground. The worst were the arrogant Gen 1 employees who seemed to love giving business to their 2nd cousin who didn’t know sh-t
Internally in Intel, procurement, supply chain upper mgmt were hated too. Not just externally with suppliers. Some of these guys on grade 10 & above were completely useless.
Yep, that sounds like Intel.
Yep - I saw this too. Intel undercuts all their suppliers and pays on the last possible day.
Guess op supplied tools to def met
Yes. Arrogance was the key factor in Intel's downfall. They never thought their sh-t stinked. They always told the customers what they will get not want they wanted. It finally took Apple to tell Intel they were sick of their technology and break away. Otellini told Apple no to ARM because they thought only X86.
2 worst Enterprise customer in SF Bay Area? Kaiser and Intel. Kaiser is in healthcare, so they can get away with it...Intel is cooked, and none too soon
Totally agree. 25 years for me. Many of us saw the writing on the wall. Many suggestions on how to improve were ignored. Can write a book of what I saw & experienced there. The culture….it’s finally suffocating.
