Is it true that the HON CEO and his 'buddies' are running side businesses and using HON resources (e.g. corporate jet) for this purpose?

Does HON allow or dismiss unionization. I've not heard of grounds for making one, but the thought does cross my mind.

RIF coming end of August due to lost contracts and downturn in economy

HW is a constant stress. It's as if no one in the leadership is aware nor cares about the headcount shortage problem, which leads to frustration, more people quitting, and ultimately the fact that we often can't meet deadlines?

Heard from a very reliable source that furloughs were announced for one of our Aero offshore divisions for Aug 7 and 21. Bet we get an email here in the states any second now…

IGS (and possibly SPS) is experiencing a wave of layoffs today. Some are being escorted out today and some are being allowed to leave at the end of the week. At least two from my department are being affected. One senior EE and a level 1 EE.

How long will this new team last? Anyone? Dysfunctional to say the least! Horrible

Is it me or y'all also feel that Honeywell has become metric driven organisation with no regards to customers and employees? I think they just cook numbers and celebrate among themselves and no idea what's going on.

I attended a local charity community event and ran into a number of former HON employees. The word on the street is similar to the posts here. The brand name is significantly damaged.

I hope you all enjoy the long weekend and have some fun. Mostly, just don't think about the sh!tshow that Honeywell has become. We can all start back on the 5th and resume our getting scr*wed by Honeywell with a little relaxation under our belts.

Yesterday, some folks were let go forever. Let's see ....it started last year and continued with the recent and very rapid departure of the GM & HR (their choice?) along with elimination of the 2nd shift. Not a pretty picture.

Several months removed from IGS and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Recommend applying to all your direct competitors and getting out - KF is no savior, he is an absolute clown show just like the obese guy right before him.
