Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Sweet and sunny

I left and won’t be asking to come back. I don’t believe that everyone asks to come back. I bet it’s less than 10% that try to return.

Every Monday that I don’t have to wake up and listen to Johnny boy pontificate about some random delusion of grandeur is a good day.

Same. Been asked back a few times but am never, ever going back. Excellence is not appreciated at HON.

Love my new job, been there almost 2 years after 25 at the hellhole known as Honeywell

Unlikely. IO cards, integrity, human decency, basic professionalism, meritocracy......all things that Wally and Wi--y are not familiar with.

I wonder if he and Johnny Boy figured out what an IO card is yet

There was only one person who consistently complained about Wills staff calls 😂

Err.....I was responding to a post asking how it is on the "other side." I'm not sure what happened but that post is now gone.

Ha! C'est moi. It's 1000% better! Imagine a company with a culture like UOP where everyone works together, each person carries their own load and helps each other out when necessary. "Employees are the biggest asset" not the operating margin or the execs compensation. People have actual industry experience and credentials and aren't all from GE. HON has some really good people, it's really sad how they are treated by cr-ppy greedy leadership and defunct HR.

Same! After decades of solid career history, being forced to work for John Boy's unqualified, inexperienced sidekick then being put in the elbow, condescended, dismissed and marginalized, all while having to bite my tongue daily and not point out the absolute lack of integrity or not laugh at the comical chest beating, I left and won't go back. I also wake up Monday morning happy to not waste time looking at some dolt's family vacation pictures for an hour or being forced to listen to a boring monologue about his wife's car breaking down or some other pointless egotistical display of self absorption that benefited HON not at all. Only John Boy has to pay 400-500K of company money a year to have a friend. You'd think he could at least hire a smart friend with some sort of qualifications.

Anyone who has worked for Honeywell will not go back unless the wages are extreme, or their desperation is high. I've known one person that returned and it was because they were flat out lied to in their job responsibilities in their new position. Of course it was another Fortune 100 company. It is best to stay with smaller companies where the management can be somewhat trusted.
