Did anyone hear they are eliminating the position of gourmet chefs and bringing in food either pre cooked or in kits that are pre cooked and get mixed? Is that true?

the model they are turning to is this- fire those close to retirement, fire those making over 10.00 an hour and replace the workforce with new hires at just above min wage and give out only 4 hrs a day and keep you under 25 hrs. they like how... — read more

technically there are cash registers at corporate, each of them has its own cash register channeling money directly to their savings accounts

Agree with Shafted completely. Ego maniacs are dime a dozen in corporate. Totally overpaid and adding minimal value. Us, common folks from the stores make all the money while they are just leaches..

One other thing anonymous when someone screws up no one @ corpkrate will take the blame, they pass the buck until it drops in some poor guys lap that didnt deserve it. Thats the Giant Eagle way!
