Thread regarding Giant Eagle layoffs

I've become a very price sensitive consumer since packages have been shrinking and prices have been swelling. I no longer shop at one store as I did in the past. I know where the best prices are for commodity items and I plan stops around those purchases. If the price is right, GE will get my business. If not, it won't. Several menu items have been dropped from my regular list of meals simply because prices have gotten to the point of being "wasteful". If these 75 layoffs result in bringing some of these recipes back from the brink, I'll be happy with it. Do I think that will happen? There's not a hope in hell.
