Thread regarding Giant Eagle layoffs

I like my Giant Eagle, but I will not pay over and above for any product there, so that I can fill another construction workers tank! It is a well known fact that roofers, construction workers etc..all go and purchase these so called"gift cards" with their customers cash, only to be rewared with free tanks of gas. Why in the heck would anyone not see the abuse in these so called "gift cards", that are tacking on to Giant Eagles grocery prices. I am so glad they finally did away with their food perks, as that was another abusive system that passed on cost to the consumer again. You can keep your 3 cents off a gallon also, just lower the damn grocery prices! Now Giant eagle must trim costs because of shoppers like me that will not pay 3 dollars for something that I can get for 2 dollars at Walmart.
