Exxonmobil is trying to decertify the union, but the people who they brought in are stealing so much that once the lockout ends that company people involved will get fired. Too funny really

Pension plan will be darren's next big mistake

There are a lot of comments on this board about the company match not coming back. Here is my prediction. The 401k match is coming back by end of 2022, and it will be 1 or 2 % higher than the old 7%! Good news, right? But wait, keep... — read more

Rationale of aggressive PIP firings?

Does anyone get the value add rationale of this seemingly senseless forced turnover? If the units don't need to shrink much, it'd be bringing in fresh inexperienced folks to replace PIPed ones. Hardly a recipee for efficiency if they are pushing... — read more

No more layoffs?

If XOM plans to fire employees based on performance reviews, does that mean we are done with traditional layoffs? It would be good to know that those of us who are among the best performers can relax from now on since that is not the case when it... — read more

Does 401k still matter?

I wonder at this point if bringing back the 401k would even be enough. I think people have already made decision to leave and it is just a matter of time now even if the 401k comes back. Take the plunge and send out your first resume. It is... — read more

Can our management answer a simple question ?

If this oversized MLRP of 5-10% yearly which will extend in total over seven years is all about rooting out low performers, why isn’t the company simply laying off the bottom say 40% of the employees ? Our ranking is obviously flawless, fair and... — read more

No more hope

My boss has been putting so much pressure in our group to report saving that has not happen yet. Some will take 6 months to 1 year. Looks like we will be the next Enron. No ethics at this company. BIG concern on this.

Feedback - when is it coming ?

Any clues from supervisors or managers on the board? The meetings are finished from what we can see from your calendars. Thought in new system list is finalized after meeting. Why delay communication?

Severance-less layoffs

That's what this is. As simple as that. They want us gone and they don't want to pay us to leave. Despicable, but did anybody expect any better from this ELT?

How convenient
