Those who received medical and religious accommodations? What did you say?
No vision, no future
I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the leadership has no vision at all. The future will look very different from today, but not in a good way. Precisely because a clear plan for the future is lacking. Maybe it's better not to think about the... — read more
How long does it take to get hired at Citi?
Interviewed last week and the week before for two different positions. The status of my application just says business review. They're always hiring here, but how long does it take?
Multi-directional indecisiveness, recipe for success?
Expand globally, that’s the ticket and shrink the UK offices. Nope sell it off some of our global assets and revamp and expand the UK offices, that’s the way to go. It’s this back and forth decisions that instills skepticism about our judgement. — read more
Everyone is worried for nothing
Forget making, marketing and selling the widgets, just focus primarily on the ESG clout and everything will just all work out. The revenue will just start rolling in and the stock will rise. If it doesn’t work this year, then give it another year... — read more

That's my raise. I can take a hint. I'll be out of here within three months.
Let's Pretend We Didn't See It Coming?
Is this another case of "let's pretend we didn't see it coming"? I took a look at the P/E graphs and it certainly looks like we are headed into dangerous territory--along with reduced resources and climate chaos. But it's hard figuring out how to... — read more
How is it now?
Former employee here. Are any groups feeling the affects of the terminations due to vaccine mandates? I saw some pretty high-profile names that are now gone. Is Citi in a downward spiral yet?
A tipping point is reached it seems….
There comes a time when there’s a paradigm shift and instead of the employees proving themselves to the company, its the company that needs to start proving itself to the employees. This is where Citi is right now.
This is your average workplace
I don't know what you people expect but if you think Citi is a horrible, terrible, awful work environment then you're in for a major and not-so-pleasant surprise when you leave. Nearly all the banks have the same issues to a varying degree. If you're... — read more
Back into the office vs inflation
What timing. Being able to work from home you saved money on gas, food, dry cleaning and even daycare. Now going back into the office those expenditures come back into our lives. So now factor in inflation. Inflation is up and can be seen... — read more
It’s a family…yea….No its a culture….yea….Wrong again, its a job.
Some of you guys take things way too personal if you don’t get that raise or promotion. I’ll say it again, you’re an asset, a commodity. Something to be used, traded or discarded at the will of the company. You rent yourself out to the company for... — read more
Anyone in leave or fired for no vax?
Do you know anyone on unpaid leave for not being vaxed? Anyone get an exemption?
I applied and going to an interview. Leaving Chase
So, I hate working at Chase. Worst work environment ever! I got mentally sick and even was short-term leave due to mental exhaustion. I applied to Citibank and went to my first interview. Does anyone here have the same path? Did you regret it? Does... — read more
How was your raise?
I had high hopes for my annual review. My manager went on and on about how valuable I was to the team. For all of my long hours and picking up the slack of my co-workers, I received a 2.5% raise. Far, far less than last year. Bummed.
I hope they find a solution
Some positions haven't been replaced for months after the employees left. That is why we are all overwhelmed. What is personally worrying to me is that I know for sure that several more colleagues will leave next month. These are people whom it is... — read more

Quite a conundrum
SCOTUS blocks Biden vaccine mandate, which is what Citi was using as the basis for their vaccine mandate. Interested what those of you who got the vaccine to save your job, are feeling now. I think I'd be a little bit pi---d.

Remote vs Office work

Switching career from banking to another industry
I've been thinking about it for a long time. Banking has become too stressful for me. Has anyone tried to switch careers from banking to another industry or knows someone who has made a successful switch? I would love to hear their experiences.
Is it time for more cuts?
I'm thinking we'll be seeing some cuts in the next several weeks. It wouldn't be the first time Citi had late-year layoffs and it probably won't be the last.
