People who live in decent cities with normally strong job markets, what’s your experience been job searching info or outside of insurance: No hits? Offers, but with lower pay? Offers outside of insurance?

Our Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel has decided to retire. She could had been planning this retirement long before this mess, but the timing makes one wonder. I know I definitely wouldn’t want to be General Counsel of Allstate right now.

From the Allstate NOW Team: Hi all, Wednesday morning’s ALL Hands meeting was not recorded for replay. A recap containing highlights will be posted to Allstate NOW. Not at all surprised given Tom’s disrespectful and tone deaf joking.

All are being relocated to hubs zones. Everyone cut and major overhaul in how they will function. 60 days is required to move work to the hubs and you will have to cooperate to be eligible for severance.

The way I understood the meeting today was that anyone who had to take the assessment has already taken it. Did anyone interpret this differently?
