A few folks were notified on Friday that their positions were eliminated and they were headed to the marketplace. Mostly MD or above.

What do folks know about talent marketplace? If you don’t get picked up in 90 days do you get shown the door?

A few areas are being told to find another 20% to cut in Q1. Good luck to anyone still around.

Many employees in State Street have received notices to be laid off at the end of April. It is the very few big banks doing layoffs at the peak of COVID 19. Guess State Street is financially expecting a big lose in the immediate future.

While State Street is keep doing layoff of US works, it do kept many temporary workers from India at office. This looks just the new culture trend of the company.
