Leadership knows this is bullsh-t and will become more lenient over the next couple of months.
It’ll never officially go hybrid. Will there be leniency that is not documented- that is the question. And only a crystal ball will tell if the leniency ever results in picking who is on the “list”
Calm down there Liberace, they’re not referring to a swinging d0rk.
@dh hmm, "dangling carrot".......... euphemism? 😆
“Most of Jeremy Foghorn Leghorn’s teams have never been forced to comply to 5 x 8 they continue to RTO 3 days a week”
He is probably the one that received the lefty bi--h of the year award for hiding his team of unqualified new hires remotely. Probably going for the consecutive bi--h award win 🏆
And don’t call him a fog ho-n. He’s a lefty bi--h that was all in with the dei efforts. Now the company has to go in stealth mode to have our people reflect our communities.

Regarding RTO, T just needs to RIP the band-aid OFF related to how many people they need to surplus and JUST DO IT, vs. dragging the RTO game along.
The people who quit and get a job with another company.
The truth is much of the workforce is in their last 2 years and doesn’t care too much. The dangling carrot doesn’t mean much anymore.
The driving range misses me. He-l who am I kidding. I regularly played 9 holes at lunch. I miss wfh.
@cy yes but now they’re taking back what the company stole from them by forcing into offices for no reason
That and one more thing that I wrote before. They created a vicious cycle of pushing you to have a disengaged behavior and then they blame you for having exactly what they created. A lot of people did want to contribute and do a good job, but they were pushed into apathy. There's always a 10-20% that is a pain in the ra re, the percentage may not be accurate, but in my mind most people do have pride and want to do a good job.
Would you agree?

“Quite the contrary. Metrics continue to show that headcount is way too high with a majority of employees doing the absolute bare minimum. More cuts are coming!”
LMAO, yeah ok LMAO. Says the guy that hires flunky offshore talent the bullsh-tted their way onto your team. LMAO. Go pull their degrees and see what losers they really are. Fake degrees, fake talent, running to team leader to explain what they are supposed to do today. LMAO! Why are more cuts coming when you continue to hire three offshore people to do the work of one competent AMERICAN. LMAO. This company eats nothing but sh-t for breakfast every day of the week.
“ The data I’ve seen shows RTO is a DISASTER!”

It will eventually revert back for some groups, but probably not until next year. Maybe after the big layoff in Nov/Dec
It WILL be rolled back or productivity, results, and revenue will continue to drop. The data I’ve seen shows RTO is a DISASTER!
Bvoip is already in the ears of leadership.
I am amazed how so many just don't get it.
To use the term "go back" implies there will be a policy reversal announced, where 5 x 8 is rescinded and "hybrid" is announced as new policy, officially.
How dim are you that you think this is even remotely possible?
Some groups "may" just stop paying attention, yes.
But there will be NO official policy change, in ANY organization. Wake the F up.

@by I have always said that any manager that focuses on attendance is a red flag. If you can't trust your people to function as professionals, you hired the wrong people, which makes you a bad manager to start with. If you have no idea what any of your reports do for a living and can't think of anything else to manage, you focus on attendance. If you took a homeless person off the street and made them manager of a technical team, what is the one thing they would know how to do? They would focus on attendance. When you have leadership that does this, you immediately know you are on your own as far as getting anything done.
I think that leaderships that puts so much emphasis on RTO is because they really have nothing else going as leaders. They just can't focus on things that really matter, simply because they don't know how.
Who cares about RTO when there are more important things to worry about, focus on and get done? Only incompetents that need an excuse.
Just saying...
I wouldn’t count on it for any orgs. Our “leadership” would rather rule than be reasonable.
I will say for certain that certain teams with certain lack of skills that were hired under DEI circumstances will certainly remain hybrid for certain.
I heard NPC&E January 2026
Data, IT related most probably, or highly distributed teams not facing customers, working odd shifts
@a7 well now you’re getting it! I mean “hate” is a strong word but I’m not sure how else to categorize it. Stankey’s diatribe in defense of RTO would suggest there is no future where hybrid is a reality. Get with the game or get out.
Yeah, what days will be my tennis days?
Hopefully all of us at once. Doing things the inefficient way just really makes no sense unless you hate your employees.
