@20d pretty sure it’s medical leave - for example, I had been on medical leave and was laid off…I’m also older, higher in my salary band, and was there over 10yrs…probably checking all the consultant boxes to get canned!
@bx please define what you mean by “medical” thanks!
And here’s / the sting…. There is a clause that Boston Consulting Group added to the severance recommendations. Do not rehire an HCSC employee within 1 year of termination from a RIF. Please note this did not apply to Cigna people. Notice they are not here complaining any more. Extra dose of cruelty.
They're not cutting 400+ jobs and reviewing the contributions of the whole company to determine who should be let go. The people making these decisions are looking at reducing company overhead. Nothing more, nothing less.
@ba no
@bx There’s a non-disparagement clause in the severance agreement, they literally have to say it wasn’t performance related.
You think they’re letting their top performers go to save a few bucks on people at the top of their salary bands and then have to go through the expense of rehiring and dealing with the onboarding performance ramp?
@bw it was NOT based on performance. It was age, salary and medical. No one laid off was on corrective action.
Hcsc su-ks.
@OP this must be humiliating. So they just wanted to replace you because you weren’t good at your job?
@ba untrue.
Is it true a majority of the people let go were return to office offenders?
@b3 visit this site multiple times a day from the office, then let us know.
@az What difference does it make if they know you are on this site?
Don't go to that link. It's a trap. HCSC can capture your IP address and know you came from this site.
So they did need the role, they just didn’t want you for some reason?
