Having encountered a few, I do not have a very high opinion about your company - Sorry about layoffs though
3rd round of layoff is coming for leadership
Let's watch this
Condolences Noblites
To those of you who didn't get laid-off I am so sorry. You have to stay and work for one the most under-handed bunch of weasels running a company anywhere. These guys could not find their ass with both hands and a flashlight. Some of us now get a... — read more
Take this comment for what its worth. Hang in there. Grass WILL be greener.
I was also let go back in April. Although is was extremely difficult "emotionally".... I can honestly say there is Life After Noble & it's good! No more toxic fake people who are backstabbing each other to get "no where", no more pretentious /... — read more
Scam (off topic)

Corporate world.....
During my 28+ years in the O&G business my experiences have driven me away from the large corporate world. I too was laid off twice, over complete BS. They can do it and will with little compassion. I thought that moving up the ladder with the big... — read more
Managers telling some staff ahead of time they were not getting laid off still hurts those who did get let go
I saw two smug employees in Canonsburg who knew and told me they were OK and it was hurtful. Bad supervisor. Bad bad supervisor. And lying to us and saying you didn't know we were going. You knew. Bad again. Either tell everyone or keep your bloody... — read more
Hang in there.... Advice
As an employee that was laid off in April, my advice is to remain vigilant, stay strong and optimistic. The initial feeling is shock and spend sometime addressing the shock. Take the week off to relax and spend time with family. For me it was not... — read more
You Can Prevent
https://hbr.org/2012/07/you-can-prevent-layoffs.html (just one of a thousand examples) These experiences are though, violent, for those who go and for those who stay... These experiences will probably be written in our hearts for the rest of our... — read more
Not surprised
Having worked with Noble, I can't say I'm surprised at the level of maturity shown here. You chose to work there when the company values are quite evident even to an outsider. Don't cry now when they treat you like shit like they do everyone.
Work, knowledge and ethics are hindrances to employment and advancement at Canonsburg Noble.
All of us left with jobs in Canonsburg should know that we will fare better in raises, bonuses and promotions in Canobsburg with no industry knowledge, no morals, little if any work, a huge and unmerited ego, drinking problems which make us special... — read more
SOME UNASKED FOR ADVICE
I have never posted on this website but have watched it since I was laid off in April. The pain and the anger came back yesterday after seeing others having to go through the shock of being let go after giving a 110% percent and working for nothing... — read more

Denver
To all the laid off employees in Denver that lived there for the lifestyle and quality of life
How were people chosen in this round of layoffs?
As far as I can tell, none of the managers ranked their employees in this round of layoffs. If that is the case then how were people chosen? Dartboard?
Noble should have sold some artwork and marble to save jobs
When I started working at Noble, I was excited. It seemed like a nimble and lean company that values its workers, compared to my former experiences. Today was a horrific experience, seeing how employees that exited were treated and then realizing... — read more
Geologists & techs
How many Geologists, geotechs and engineer techs get cut in Denver?
Hey you!
I won't name names, but there is a certain supervisor on the 6th floor of the Canonsburg office that should have been let go the day she started. Anytime you walk through her hallway you'll notice her gossiping in one of her employees offices... — read more
Don't dwell on this normal part of life in corporate America! Get back to work!
The oil & gas industry is a sinking ship, not just Noble. The hubris that people demonstrate during times like these is laughable. Why do people who get laid off or get fired or don't get what they want become so convinced that they were such an... — read more
"Executive Leadership Team"...... more like "Do what's good for me" team.
It's no wonder why Noble is in trouble. I would like to think that during a significant event, like a layoff, that the leadership team (or the "Executive Leadership Team" as they pompously call themselves) would be at the facility helping people work... — read more

Noble Spouses

Once Again .....
Once again a failed attempt to really clean house at Noble. The least loyal were cut, who didn't drink the cool-aid but did their job and did it well. The most loyal, the ones who spend more time kissing ass and have no idea how to do their job are... — read more
