Thread regarding Noble Energy Inc. layoffs

Noble should have sold some artwork and marble to save jobs

When I started working at Noble, I was excited. It seemed like a nimble and lean company that values its workers, compared to my former experiences. Today was a horrific experience, seeing how employees that exited were treated and then realizing those who survived. No one deserves to be treated the way Noble treats employees once the tide turns. If you don't flirt, kiss ass, or are part of the boys club that goes shooting on Fridays, you are done. Every manager that said "I don't know anything other that what was in Stover's email" is a liar, which I know for a fact. I feel terrible for everyone who was affected today and who will be affected in the future. Noble's vision of success is what is wrong with the company, which is a slowly sinking ship.

Completely agree about the artwork. That artwork easily could've covered a few dozen employees salaries.
