I'm working in CISCO and i see that there is red badge employee layoffs happening. They are trying to finish the process for the red badge employees before this quarter end.

Heard it will start with massive red badge cut.... Then massive full time cuts. Compared to any earlier cuts, this seems real big. Next 2-4 weeks you will see many changes.

Heard from an SVP that this will be announced in the next two weeks. Probably so you're gone before GSX. Seems to be a regular annual occurrence now, but 20% is a large cut.

Expect to see sales layoffs as Cisco sales goes through reorganization. All levels to be affected. Sales growth projections are coming up short. Will cuts come before GSX?

COnfirmation they're coming within 3 months indefinitely. Company is eating sh-- in the cloud space and cutting some fat very soon. Can't hire H1B ignorants to do what skilled workers need to be hired to do.

Former colleagues say new org is a pipe dream, more layoffs are coming, and management is realizing they actually need experienced workers rather and magical millennials aren't going to save them (as they had previously thought).
