800-900 in APAC (mainly India, Singapore, Australia)

Heard from my friend in HR that there will be about 800 layoffs in APAC. 250 layoffs in India with the rest mainly in Singapore and Australia. Notifications in APAC are not until at least next week.

Yet again the older and higher grades are getting hit, replaced with cheaper resources from RTP and India, newer skills is cover up for offloading the long terms people that have given years of quality service
