I have heard a rumour that one (or maybe both?) of the x-bow vessels are to be cold stacked later in the year. This would seem quite unlikely I would have thought. Has anyone else heard anything along these lines??

CGGVeritas has signed a 5yr marine charter deal with shipbuilder Bourbon for 6 new seismic survey vessels to be delivered by EOY (2012).

I was cntacted by my consultant for an opening with CGG Veritas recently. Wanted to know if the company is financially stable or i would also be a part of their lay-off scheme after finishing first project. Do they ley-off people like this everytime?
