Layoffs have started in North America.

This week alone 9 of the biggest companies in oil and gas all confirmed pay offs have started in there companies with many already cutting upto 10 to 20 percent and all said it's just the start.

Platform drill crews today were all handed notice by Kcad. Over 500 north sea staff will go over the next few months as all decommissioning and drilling work in north sea is put on long term hold.
