Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Anyone actually got laid off yet?

I’ve heard lots of smaller operators are already planning on laying down rigs, a few have already.

The package was getting worse each round of pays offs going back 5 years now.
After 2 years from when the started is was down to half at 3 years was basic.
They then started using very dirty tactics to get rid of people and not pay anything.
Now its brutal as will just sack you if possible or it will be 1 weeks pay for every year service upto 20 years so max you can get is a few months wages..
