Baker Hughes is a piece of s...t**. Super incompetent team in management. Sales team have no idea what they are doing.
A lot of good people went when GE took over and it just went downhill from there. Most of BHGE management were ex GE, a lot were incompetent and only in their role because of who they knew.
I saw more than a few good people get canned because they disagreed with the id–ts in charge. typical GE mentality, don't fix the problem, just get rid of the people who are inconveniently telling you about it.
Would not be surprised if BH got broken up and sold off in pieces, there are a few good bits in there.
example of management team out of their depth. No business skills, no management skills, no technicals skills, no marketing skills, very limited operational expertise, no common sense, bull in a china shop approach and taxi driver mentality and cover ups to hide the mess What a fkg train wreck. The office now bankrupt.
stoneywood was club cover up f-ups and loss revenue making up bs on safety to get awards back pat from Houston
Everybody who worked at stoneywood know the management was bad . Bad decision bad atmosphere , money lost by poor decision, lazy people, always disorganised, inexperience Everyone expect it go downhill and now finished, why didn’t Ge baker see the mess and fix earlier. Now jobs lost including repair facility at portlethen . What a shambles
This is company wide. In US land we have been k–led by our competitors. We have a sales team who would give used car salesmen a bad name and middle management and coordinators who haven’t a clue about the product lines they manage.
Unbelievable incompetence from aberdeen management where did yu hire thes duma$$ . Shud fired them long time ago
There is no reason aberdeen office should have gone down the toilet - but it did. Problem was senior mgrs putting wrong people into management who didn’t understand the business. That’s obvious. Perfect storm andrecipe for disaster. Could see this coming no surprise to ppl who know he oil business.
No surprise re stoneywood. Look at the managers sc-aping the bottom with that scumbags
Can Baker survive. I doubt it. Stock will drop below $10 and it will be gobbled up and sold off piece by piece. So goes a 100 year legacy.
So the cats out the bag - stoneywood old school lost all their drilling services due to management incompetence and f-ups. Drilling, mwd, mud, wireline all gone. Worst sales and management team ever seen in baker worldwide. What a fkg shambles.
Baker to pull out of the North sea, and mot a moment too soon. Useless management, useless employees.
For those of us working for smaller operators the writing is on the wall.
Since we are hanging on to our work with the majors with a thread we are screwed.
Layoffs are inevitable. Projecting 20% rig drop in ND.
Midland needs a good flushing from the cesspool anyways...
