Customer Visits/ Office

Business Seg- Are you managers requiring you to do site visit and go into the office? I’m being told we are about to start.

Am I the only one who's worried about RTO?

I don't care about the vaccine issue, I got mine as soon as it was possible to get it. I am worried about having to return to the office now that I know what it's like to not have to commute or have my incompetent manager breathing down my neck 8/5... — read more

How is it optional if mandatory?

So we are told it’s a violation of COBC if you don’t get vaccinated and that you have to attest and upload your card as proof (or be in violation). Yet all through the attestation flow, it says it’s voluntary and optional and you have to consent as... — read more

Will the U management team step up?

Will the U management team step up & stand strong for its members & not allow the T management team to force this v@x requirement on the members? Everyone I’ve talked to said they’re getting out if the U goes along with T’s plan. — read more

The U management team: Don’t be surprised…

The U Management team: don’t be surprised to see mass exodus from the U if yall allow the T management team to force the vax on craft. Since the day the emails came out I’ve talked to a dozen or so people. Every single one of them brought up the... — read more

Here’s what’s going to happen….

For those of you that don’t know, T follows. They don’t lead. This mandatory vax decision is a good example; they were not the first major corporation to come out with it. If you’ve been watching the news over the last 48 hours, starting with... — read more

Will T ever regret it

because of their indifference to the departures of talented people? T is not only indifferent, but also in every way encourages talented people to leave. I wonder if change will ever happen for this company to finally realize that in the long run... — read more

Can we all agree?

The fact that most cannot quit. Yes, due to good salaries. And family needs... age ....it's a chokehold.. yes most (big mouths.. saying I'm not going to do take the vax..blah blah).. will take the "jab" to keep their job... The vaccinated will... — read more

Facebook

So last week or so Facebook mandated the vaccine but yesterday they are saying they wont return to the office no earlier than January. I thought the whole point of mandating the vaccine was to get everyone back to the office? What am I missing... — read more

I see this as a good thing

I'm hoping people are going to have the courage of their convictions and quit rather than get the vaccine they so adamantly opposed. Judging by the people posting here, there'll be a sizable group that'll walk away over this. This means T will... — read more

How hard did you work just before you left?

I gave notice because I can't take it anymore. It turned out that it was not too difficult to find a new opportunity. Since I’ve been working hard so far, I wouldn’t like to leave a bad impression at the end, but on the other hand, I have no... — read more

Exempt from vaccine mandate

Sooooo…..there are at least 8 groups in CNIO who are exempt from the 10/11 directive. Mine is one of them. If it was that important for the health of our employees and customers to get the shot, why isn’t every group included?? Why mandate at all... — read more

Coercion

Well, despite dutifully wearing a mask and natural immunity and antibodies per test 2 weeks ago, because I cannot afford to be homeless I have scheduled my experimental and unnecessary vaccination for tomorrow. This is disgusting. I’m sick to my... — read more

FMP

Any information on what and how FMP (forced management plan) works? How often, who gets it, any information is valuable.

Thank you AT&T for Vax announcemnt

T doesn’t always make the right decisions, but they do deserve credit where credit is do. Making the Vax mandatory was the right move. I feel much more comfortable now going forward that my workplace will be safe.

MY CONCERN AT AT&T...

The company is being ran like the federal government now and we have managers at T who are no benefit to society ............ and the people around them .

“game changing” announcement tomorrow

I was told that an announcement will be sent tomorrow related to vaccination, face masks, etc. and the insinuation was that it may be employees being required to vaccinate. That this was going to be a significant policy chance, not just another off... — read more

September 15

There is a lot of rumors about this date. I hope there will be no layoffs because rumors never appear just like that without there being at least a little truth in them. Does anyone have verified info?

Why do many want layoff?

I’m no longer as engaged as I used to be because I’ve been convinced many times that ATT doesn’t value my efforts but I’m still working pretty hard and I hope to be able to stay here for as long as I feel like it. The company is no longer what it... — read more

Mandatory Vaxx

Anyone else hearing rumblings of this as a way to drive people out of the business?

If you could work for any company, what would it be?

I used to dream of leaving AT&T behind for Tesla, but I got disillusioned quickly when it comes to that place. My priorities changed as well. Now my dream job has to have job security, so Apple has jumped high on my list (although a software engineer... — read more

How will ATT Wireless compete?

As employees with near 50% off I still pay more than comparable plans with Cricket and Metro PCS. T-Mobile plans are far more reasonable and no junk fees. If I wasn't subsidized I would go straight to another provider. How can they continue to charge... — read more

Remote jobs

People keep saying this is the best time to leave if you don't want to RTO, that there are many remote jobs available in some of the top companies and I have to ask: where are you finding these jobs? I've been looking everywhere and what I'm finding... — read more

Pension Lump Sum eliminated?

I’m an active employee with a nice lump sum pension coming my way when I terminate employment (and also eligible for subsidized health care premiums). What are the chances that AT&T will eliminate the lump sum option in 2022 and go back to the... — read more

Covid

So here we are in Louisiana, the hub of the spread! Governors order mandatory mask up inside buildings! AT&T hasnt done anything extra to protects its employees, in other words "stepped up to the plate" and start limiting customers in store or just... — read more

AT&T Layoff Incentive

Personally, I don't see or sense that there's going to be any kind of Incentive Package to leave in 2021. If so, you'll hear in October. Good luck!

Sometimes I miss it

I left a little over 6 months ago. My situation has improved, but not as much as I had hoped. Sometimes I do think of what could have been if I had stayed, but I am reminded of why I left in the first place after reading the posts here. I guess this... — read more

Makes no sense

Everywhere I look (I'm not talking just about T, but overall) I see studies that say productivity increased during WFH. In some cases, significantly. I'm yet to find a company that said its productivity went down. Still, more and more companies are... — read more

DirecTV employees, do you feel relieved?

Are you happy to be away from this mess? I'm not sure how things will play out for you, but I know that it will not be worse than under Stankey. I really hope each and every one of you realize just how lucky you are. Before somebody tells me to... — read more
