I’m no longer as engaged as I used to be because I’ve been convinced many times that ATT doesn’t value my efforts but I’m still working pretty hard and I hope to be able to stay here for as long as I feel like it. The company is no longer what it used to be but I would be lying if I said I wanted a layoff. On the other hand, some of my colleagues, and also here I see people that want to be cut. I just don't get it.

To get the severance pay so they can transition out of this cesspool of a company
Contractually some can get almost 2 years severance pay.
