How much longer ?

How long can a company pay field services techs to drive around and do very little work? Term employees are virtually brain dead. What percentage of techs enjoy doing little to no work? Is that rewarding? What about the stockholders that own... — read more

Lack of skills

I'll be honest, I'm only here because I lack skills to get something better. For a while I was very comfortable here and I didn’t think much about slowly becoming less and less marketable. How to make up for lack of skills in the shortest... — read more

Quantum Performance Review Feeback for Managers

Does anyone know if Quantum feedback by employees for managers are taken seriously? I think my ATT manager has received bad feedback and wonder if the upper managers look at it and implement change. Or is it just a formality and it's up to the... — read more

Nobody enjoys RTO

Why the return to the office isn’t working Those who want to be remote are upset because they enjoyed working from home and don’t understand why, after two years of doing good work there, they have to return to the office. People who couldn’t wait... — read more

Truth hurts

Most T employees are stagnate in their positions and are no longer as marketable as they would like to be. They're stuck at T not only because they're a little long in the tooth, but also because of their lack of skills that can be used at another... — read more

I'm more productive from home

I'm okay with going back to the office. I'm also okay with going back to the levels of productivity that come with less sleep, more distractions, and zero desire to do anything outside of my regular hours. I'm not sure how loss in productivity (not... — read more

I wonder why more people are not quitting

With so many complainers, you'd think more of them would be looking for new jobs so they could escape the horrible situation at AT&T. Yet when you look at attrition, it's about the same (low) levels as it has always been. What's the point in staying... — read more

Will the company celebrate RTO?

What do you think? Will they have a employee appreciation celebration to welcome everyone back? I hope so, nothing over the top, maybe cake with ice cream. What would you like the company to do?

Who has the most annoying shtick?

Someone like Legg who uses the same things over and over again like "battle of the bands" or Stinky who comes has to outdo himself with new stupid ones each quarter?

How long will it take us to regain focus?

After all these (we can now safely call them) failed acquisitions, how long will it take us to get back on the right track? Because it certainly doesn't seem like we're getting there fast enough. The strategy still seems to be all over the place... — read more

No layoffs this year?

With interest rates rising 2.5 to 3% this year and given that lump sums drop 10% with each 1% interest increase why would they pay severance?

Juneteenth PDO

If T is serious about honoring diversity why don't they honor Juneteenth as a paid holiday on Monday. It gets old, the way Stankey and c-suite are always harping about discrimination at T, yet they keep amazingly silent on Juneteenth. This should be... — read more

Stank in the Hot Seat eating blazing hot food

And answering scripted questions. Yawn! Put him in a room full of employees with 30+ years who had their retiree medical and earned vacation days stripped away and see how he does!

Can Pascal increase T share price?

Maybe raise rates again, T has a fairly captive audience when it comes to mobility. Now is probably a good buying opportunity, but only if the share price increases at some point.

El Segundo No longer a hub location?

This is news to me, as per Jeff Elfish email, El Segundo is no longer considered a hub location and all employees are now labeled Virtual (TW) in webphone.

You waited too long

Folks - you seasoned vets that are still hanging in there. You missed your opportunity in 2021. How's the retirement calc looking with these rising rates? I wish you all good luck.

Handling the economic downturn

The looming recession is extremely worrying. It doesn’t seem to me like T is in great shape to handle the recession, although I’ve seen that there are those here who think otherwise. Thoughts?

Bala Subamanium was just

appointed to Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Digital Officer for UPS. I hope he has T provide services for UPS which would mean lots of new work!

Ho-e in one = paid day off!

Anyone hear about this? T employee, at work, was provided a chance to putt a ho-e in one. Employee nailed it, the entire workgroup received a PDO. Wish I was included, we never get opportunities like this. As seen on Inside Edition 06/15.

Any basis for all the layoff threads?

If there is, I haven't seen it. I think T is in great shape moving forward without DTV and WM. I don't see any need for layoffs, let attrition run its course.

Discrimination in layoffs at T

As MSN reports, it can be a hazard of trying to quickly and artificially level the playing field. Let’s hope this does not end in unfair treatment. Conscious bias is racism, period going forward... — read more

Here ATT goes again-

Have to learn to control costs. After blowing billions on unsuccessful mergers, it’s no surprise costs for ATT are spiraling out of control. I guess Stinky and Randall never envisioned inflation. I switched to T-Mob, and getting 3 times the... — read more

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver

I don't think anybody is as happy as John Oliver to no longer be working for AT&T. The man is positively gleeful and is enjoying his newfound freedom to the max (not that he refrained all that much in the past, but still). If you haven't seen last... — read more
