What do you think? Will they have a employee appreciation celebration to welcome everyone back? I hope so, nothing over the top, maybe cake with ice cream. What would you like the company to do?

It's the least they should do. The challenge will be getting everyone at the office on the same day to participate.
Cake, ice cream and pizza and a clown to make an announcement that it was all a joke and we can wfh again.
Lol, we haven’t had an employee appreciation event since the 90’s.
Free donuts on pajama day !
I don't want anything. Since most of the people I work with aren't even in the same state as me, I have no desire to either return to the office or go to any kind of party with people I don't work with either.
The company has shown how little they care about employees not only taking away benefits but also previous "get together" events like summer and holiday parties. Now that they want something, trying to bribe with a stupid event like this isn't something I care about.
I could go for pizza and sodas, if Stankey is buying.
Bedminster employees were told to pack up and will be relocating a few miles away.. a much smaller building, so not sure if that will still be a hub.
Posts like the one OP made are the exact reason AT&T and America is in the shape it's in.
You get "appreciated" every payday.
Maybe mom could make you an extra special lunch with 2 puddings, extra Mountain Dew, gluten free chips.... and a cute note!
Weak.
Pathetic.
The Stink will celebrate. He will be able to fire anyone that does not come back "for cause" and not have to pay any severance! More $ for the Stink to pocket! Why layoff when he can get rid of people for free? He does not pay people to leave anymore.
OP, not hire people like you who come on public forums like this and make stupid gaslight statements and pawn them off as questions. Get a life.
Maybe a pep rally where you folks could shake p-m poms.
Or a group sing a long. while holding hands!!!
Or, you could just shut up and go back to work.
It's a job.
Nothing more.
Thought they wanted us back there to work, no?
If I'm in that place, I'm getting sh** done, not standing in a dirty, crowded kitchen, pretending to be happy with a fake smile, eating cheap cake or pizza, listening to some egotistical exec drivel about him/herself.* No. That sh** is done.
You force me in. I'm working, not playing your ridiculous sniveling game.
*Same exec never to be heard from again within a year or two.
Cake and ice cream?? I’d be happy if they just reopen the cafeteria.
Why should they? COR employess have worked through it all!!
Pajama party for everyone!
