Headcount reduction

I am surprised by how many people think that the company has to cut more people in order to be more competitive and survive. Do you really think that major headcount reductions are the only way to keep the company afloat? What are the arguments?... — read more

I have about $300K in Stocks and $250K in retirement funds

I am gonna mod a van and drift around. Beach Towns, Mountains, Low and Under Radar. With Apps you can get good deals on fast food and just go basic. Sick of the corporate suburbia. ATT Management and Dallas blow chunks. I will still get some tail.

Reorganization

Look for a split in wireline and wireless. The spiral downward can’t continue. Wireline will be set up as its own company and saddled with the debt. Wireless will wind up as a spin-off. Look for thousand of layoffs by year end.

Seeking ATT Surplus information ONLY

Focus people and do not post anything that has to do with anything except insight on ATT layoffs and maybe pension info. Other than that, keep your uninteresting thoughts to yourself.

ATT is in trouble folks

Mass layoffs is a short term lever but the long term problems still exist. The culture does not endorse productivity and growth. It promotes everything that leads to stagnation.

TMobile Market Cap $178B ATT $120B

Nice going Stankey. Again tell us all about your expertise in every facet of business. Tell uss again how there are too many mouths to fee while you poison the livestock and burn the fields. I hope you drop daed

Sure but for the dividend while the share price

Decline laps the dividends over and over. This is what you call a dog with fleas in market speak. It is over for ATT as they don't have the cash flow or growth to keep all the plates spinning. In 12 short years TMobile once the laughing stock in... — read more

Johns, Pauls, Franks, Betties ...

We see just the same xVP faces shuffling among organizations over 10-15 years. How is that possible the corp still keeps those dummies there? The figures clearly show that those 'leaders' are incompetent.

ATT does not have answers on how to grow

If they can’t chop heads fast enough the dividend cut is the next step. You can’t rebound from 3 massive strategic blunders in 12 years. And that’s the bottom line.
