Quality of new hires

If job performance, productivity and retention are some basic indicators of the quality of new hires, then I think this company will be in big trouble. I'm not saying that all those who have been hired here recently are bad employees (there are... — read more

T Layoff

Working for T is a joke, engineers "work from home" Washington/Bothell/Woodinville area. Collecting high salaries for really doing much of nothing all day. Gaming/Social networking, sleeping, really whatever they want. The TEAM backs each other up... — read more

Pony up and I will leave, otherwise I will continue

To camp out at home and cash checks baby. Could have offered me something a couple years ago but you went cheap and it's costing you. Now I got you. So I will hang out at home and cash checks.

End of Year Appraisals

Seems that end of year appraisals/ratings for managers are being done earlier this time around, just throwing this out there seems like it’s all part of the plan to lay folks off early 2023. Ps I don’t have any insight just an opinion. — read more

I hope next year will be better

Unfortunately, I don't know many people who are optimistic that the next year in this company will be at least a little better. Any thoughts?

CAP Plans B2B

I am fairly new to the company, about 7 months. Our segment recently announced that they would be putting people on performance plans. Can I be placed on a plan if 5 months of the 7 were on ramp or am I safe until I hit a tear of service?

VTP inevitable

One big reason not talked about here why the company will likely offer T workers the VTP on 12/15/22 and/or on 3/15/23 is for a strategic and quick change with its employee diversity numbers using caps so that specific numbers of certain people will... — read more

Retire already

If you are within a couple years of retiring, why not go ahead and retire vs taking a job away from a younger person who will be severely impacted by layoffs? Greed? Stupidity? Or is this just what the karen and boomer generation does? They only care... — read more

John Stanley needs to go

I hear the plan is to lay off 50% of our workforce so they can inflate numbers again. Notice we are breaking records and make so much money to the public and internally we are hemorrhaging. We must demand a vote of no confidence against our sorry a-s... — read more

Employees hoodwinked!

Does Stankey believe that any employees will attend the next town hall hosted by him? It's highly doubtful, he has lost any credibility he had with remaining employees. Most, if not all employees, attended the call to gain insight into the future of... — read more

Greater Possibility = Rethink Possible = Layoffs

Apparently our purpose is here and it sounds a lot like our rethink possible line from 10 years ago. How many roles were surplused so we could pay millions to consultants to write this new phrase that’s basically the same as before? Execs should be... — read more

Stank's meeting with purpose

He spoke for nearly 10 minutes at the top and literally said nothing. And now it's on to the hot seat nonsense. Watch executives eat spicy food. Wacky. Irreverent. Wild.

Is anybody happy working here?

I would like to fall into that category, but unfortunately, I don't. Moreover, I started to despise my job here because I have a totally unprofessional manager. It is almost normal if a person becomes bitter after a certain time, because the... — read more

End of telecommuting at T?

We have few actual project managers

There are too many project managers because the company put too many people that they didn’t know what to do with over the years into that title, often following a reorganization. Real project management is a true profession, which requires... — read more

I don't think we're looking at any layoffs soon

Am I the only one who thinks we're safe from layoffs for a while? With cuts that already took place and the unprecedented attrition, I don't see that there's a need for more cuts any time soon. I might be proven wrong but until then, I'm going to... — read more
