Stankey created a toxic work place and most of us

Are just milking this puppy. You want people to leave you better turn up the screws but that burns your new young cheap employees. Stankey is dammed if he does dammed if he doesn't. Either way I still collect 40 hour checks for 5 hours of my time... — read more

Has anyone ever thought to take their

Toenail clippings or foot callus shavings, grind them up fine and throw them into some holiday cookies to leave in the break room? I see where high school kids have done the hash brownies on class mates but I was thinking of trail blazing my own... — read more

For the entire month of December I plan to put in

Just one hour per day on ATT related items. Hour at beginning of day, end of day or split up 30 minutes morning and evening. That's it. Then carry forward into 2023 for as long as possible. Nobody cares any longer and I sure don't. Sck it Stankey!

Jason Press townhall all about layoffs

I watched Jason Press town hall yesterday. He took over for Eric Boyer. He said AT&T must lay people off because we are not cost competitive with peers like Verizon and Comcast. He had four or five people with him on stage. One of them from... — read more

Retirement finally!

I've been on this website for a few years now. The love and hate for this company has never waivered since coming here. I'm not trying to rub it in but I finally pulled the plug! I retired yesterday because I was sick and tired of the mental games... — read more

Names will be announced by Jan 15 and will be off of payroll by Jan 16, 2023. Asked to let the managers know about the retirement by the end of this week or else someone from the team will be forced to leave. Any thoughts?

Blame and shame don't work

If there are those who are satisfied with the work of this leadership, then they are very few. I am ashamed of this leadership that failed at almost everything that was possible to fail. I believe that they are well aware of the opinion we have... — read more

What is the T Media Relations team planning for this year's virtual message from John? Another pajama party? A site visit to the North Pole? A tour of a bank vault?

SAN DIEGO SPLICERS

Here’s a group that would actually be more productive after a 50% layoff. Instead of just shucking and jiving at Huts and Central offices they might just have to complete some work. It’s the only group of outside “workers “ that never get dirty. ... — read more

11/30 this week

Question. How is it possible that $$$ can be taken from our pensions? Example: If you have 300K in it and suppose 10% taken - that would be 270K. Can AT&T actually take $$$ out of our existing pension?

UVerse TV

Does anyone know when my UVerse TV will go away. I want to plan ahead before AT&T gets out of this business.

This thread is for info about potential AT&T layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Who make the Layoffs list

I was part of the 2019 layoff. even though I moved on and doing way better not money wise but stress free life. For me it was like a bad divorce because looking at who was let go Vs. who stayed I am always wondering who create the list is it HR is it... — read more

upcoming 2023 recession

I thought with the current economic climate we are already in a recession. Why are there still articles being written about the upcoming 2023 recession. Does that mean ATT will be culling the herd with massive layoffs 2023 to appease shareholders?

Lumpsum vs Annuity

Is it really worth while taking lump sum for Legacy T folks? Is not it better to go for the guaranteed annuity and don’t worry about the interest rates?

It is beyond comprehension

I'm trying to understand the logic of a company that spends a lot of money to hire employees, train them, only to fire them not long after. This does not happen only here, but it is very common at ATT. Why? What is the logic behind it? Not only... — read more

No rationale behind surplus decisions

The rational for surplus decisions at T follows the same logic as many other strategic decisions it’s made…absolutely none. The company is barely keeping its nose above water. Rather than stepping back and putting a stake in the ground with solid... — read more
