“ Since the day after was removed as a management company holiday…”
Actually the day after IS a management paid holiday, though it was not one before a couple years ago. When they took the extra week away and added 2 holidays, this was one of them.
Merry Christmas Stinkey!!! Don’t forget to wear hour silky pajama to work. We vount on you!!!
I have worked for AT&T for 22 years and have met many wonderful people that I like and respect very much, but I wouldn’t call a damn one of them or any other coworkers family. Just saying.
I know lots of coworkers at this company and like and respect a lot of them, but I wouldn’t call a damn one of them my family. Just saying
Telco call centers craft & management lost the day after Thanksgiving. I thought this was company wide, I only know those on the call center side. google: AT&T company holidays 2020 or the link below. The call center detail was replaced with corporate holidays in 2021 & I did not know this until I searched.
sorry for the miscommunication, I should have identified my group.

Is this a joke? A close relative of mine was hired by this company, trained, and got laid off within 6 months after performing quite well (better than most tenured employees in the same department) while his wife was undergoing cancer treatments … just days before Thanksgiving. Who’s making strategic business and HR decisions over there?
Happy Thanksgiving AT&T family
Friday is a mgt holiday.
For some of us we have made good friends we consider family.
I am grateful for my job and work family.
Is Friday a management holiday?
the stipend is for coupon cutters
Since the day after was removed as a management company holiday, I will be in on Friday with a magazine. No call & no work to do.
Family?
Sure thing.
It's not a family, nor a team.
It's a job.
Enjoy the kool aid tho.
Stankey is in his pajamas and Stephenson is in one of his mansions having a catered Thanksgiving meal waiting for another $274,000 payout next month!
Thank you Mr. Stankey for the warm wishes (if it is really you, but I am sure you read the Layoff anyway). It would be an even better Thanksgiving if you would not cut the retiree stipend down to just MedicareAdvantage only in 2024. You ended the benefit for future retirees at the end of 2020. Please let attrition do its job over the next 20 or so years.
