So what do you think allstate will do to those that choose not to get vaccinated since they will comply with the government mandate
I'm desperate to leave Allstate
I'm miserable here and I've been trying so hard to find something that would allow me to leave, but every offer I've received in the past six months has been ridiculously low. I'm talking 40 to 50 percent under what I'm making now. I could afford to... — read more
I am more and more often ashamed
Yesterday was one of those situations, again, in which I was ashamed in front of the customer for something I shouldn’t be the one feeling shame, but Allstate. I know, I'm not the only one who's ashamed.
No motivation
I haven't cared for the company for a long time or the reasons why it doesn't even try to motivate its employees to be more productive. What worries me, however, is how to stay motivated for the bare minimum of work, until I finally get a better... — read more
Glassdoor Reviews are a SCAM
Took the time to write a review of this dumpster fire, rating it a one star rightfully. Of course it was never posted, despite using language that did not violate guidelines. When you see 4 and 5 star reviews with headlines “Great Benefits” and... — read more
Being an Executive is a really hard job
They work long hours(12 + hour days) have more stress than most people, and have a lot of moving parts they deal with. People should keep this in mind as well.
Holiday schedule
Down to six whole holidays. Why not just get a retail job. At least you can leave for the day and be able to shut it off and not worry about how much you have to do tomorrow.
Annual raises
With the staffing issues, turnover and inflation, do we still think allstate will be low on annual raises or compensate with those factors
Long Term Officers Retire
It is good to see some long term officers retire!! Good for the company and employees in those departments.
What's the value of "Working from home"
What do you think? 10% of your salary? 20%, 30%... Can you put a number on it. For example, would you chose an in-office job, all other things being equal (except for the current job being 'from home')88, for a 20% raise?
Brandt as CEO
Who things Brandt would be a good CEO?

I wish I could scale back
Am I the only person here whose work ethic won't allow him to intentionally do a job half-assed? Yes, I know the company has been treating us like cr-p but that doesn't mean I have to lower my own standards. I'm proud of my work. I won't put myself... — read more
Job postings
Knowing the layoffs and now seeing postings (some many months old and did have qualified people)!to fill positions does seem a little short sighted, kind of like a short term goal to get the bonus for that year and then worry about later, tomorrow... — read more

How not to get burned out?
I don't remember ever, in any other company, being more tired than I've been here in recent days. Is there any way to avoid a burnout at Allstate?
Prediction: Glenn will become the next Allstate CEO
Anyone else see that?
Culture of defeat
It seems that the culture at Allstate has shifted to that of defeat. The only thing that all the employees can agree on is that they don't want to work here anymore. Everything else is secondary. No wonder most new hires leave as quickly as they... — read more
Transforming Allstate to “AllPro”
With the massive stock options and voluntary termination offers happening to the middle managers this year, Allstate’s cash pile will increase nearly 300 million. They are poising themselves for sale to Progressive. “AllPro” here we come. — read more
Things will get better with Brandt
With Eric as Chief Claims Officer, this will work out for the better in claims. Being in the business for a while, I can tell you he is a talented executive with the long term in mind, for both workers and the company.
Everyone is burnt out and overworked
The joy of this job is gone. They’ve sucked it out. Every last bit of energy the adjusters had is spent. The constant claim volume, the thankless overtime. Does anyone know what the end result is of transformative growth besides a bunch of... — read more

Transformative Growth
To this day I still think that was a sick term that Allstate used to justify massive layoffs last year to spin it like it benefited employees. Ever since they have executed that plan things have went downhill.
