There are more and more rumors that there will be layoffs before the start of the first quarter. Does anyone know how big these cuts will be and who are the target groups? Do you think there will be no significant cuts before that?

The Hudson Property Theft Office already cut out the Express handling and processors. Not even sure I saw anyone comment about this. Hard to believe with all the other junk on this thread.
Now the theft claims are 500 claims behind from being assigned and that equates to a two week or longer back log. Don't know that I've ever seen such a s.it show. If they have some sort of grand plan for India or who ever to handle these claims and customers they better put it into action soon. But it just appears that they got caught flat footed and didn't plan on so many people leaving on top of the people they laid off and now they don't know what to do.
Doesn't matter who you talk to they are all uber busy and over worked. Either they are tenured and just biding their time or fairly new and looking for work elsewhere. Not sure anyone has a deep seated 'satisfied' feeling about working here anymore.
Count me as long tenured and biding my time but doing the work that needs to be done.

I'd look at it this way. The easier your job is to source, the more likely you are to see impacts in your area. If there is already sourcing in your area and success can be claimed by any measure, expect more of it.
Claims is short staffed by design. After the 2020 layoffs the remaining claims employees and the hires that were made were just the 18-24 month stopgap before the 2022 full move to India. Less people to lay off and less severance to pay out there are not as many heads to chop. COVID actually postponed this and gave us an additional year or so of pay and tenure.
Claims is on the way to India full throttle. C’mon man can’t you see that’s why the C Suite could care less ? Don’t be surprised if layoffs are announced or some personality test is administered early January to thin out the weakest links. That’s how Allstate rolls
Fortunately our tech has become worse and we are so desperate for claims workers we are hiring anyone without a felony. This is going to only exacerbate the turnover rate. Our cheapskate approach to technology has only increased handling times and complicated claim handling which has led to lower efficiency and more frustration…. Also adding to burnout/attrition. Somehow the big guys up top can’t wrap their big brains around that.
Claims is way understaffed . No layoffs coming here. We need people badly.
Layoffs wouldn't surprise me next year, Progressive is getting ready for layoff next year, as tech gets better you need less people.
Even Allstate isn't brutal enough to put out layoffs this time of year. That'd require management to work the next few weeks.
If you are hearing rumours than you would also hear the answers to your questions. Nobody would say runours are happening but not mention a group.
