BET has been slowly but surely closing its corporate office doors. They've been slowly phasing out nearly every division. Not much left in DC but the clean up crew.

At least 23 people so far today (Tuesday) in almost all departments. Don't know if it's over...

What with the poor handling of whole situation, is it true that the cameras in the lobby were filming for some sadistic reality TV show?

Can we call get real for a minute? You've been laid off. And, you've been paid out for one week, four months, six. But where is the paperwork? We work for a billion dollar media company and they can't actually close the loop swiftly and responsibly?

That's it.

Does anyone know when these layoffs will end? It is incredibly stressful coming to work every day wondering if I am going to be laid off. Not to mention very difficult to get motivated to do anything.

The layoffs in DC for the BET Brand was awful. Entire groups were dismissed in a matter of hours. Working with people for several years...very draining...
