Thread regarding Viacom Inc. layoffs

Over one week --- no paperwork?

Can we call get real for a minute? You've been laid off. And, you've been paid out for one week, four months, six.

But where is the paperwork? We work for a billion dollar media company and they can't actually close the loop swiftly and responsibly?

Viacom has put itself in a very dangerous position. Employment lawyers are enjoying every misstep of thi$$. Summer must be rolling in his near grave.

Agreed. It's been almost 2 weeks since I was informed that I was being let go, and still no paperwork.

They let go several in Legal the week before they hit the rest of the company (smart planning), but they knew this was coming, this should have been set in place way ahead of time. I still think there's something very shady about the fact that we still don't have this paperwork.
