Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Are we safe now?

With the whole Cognizant thing done, are those of us who're left behind safe at least for a while?

Cognizant town hall said this was the first of many FIS transitions. I have heard from people much higher than I that FIS will rebadge most teams to Cognizant, likely positioning themselves to be acquired.

@OP FIS is migrating everyone to as few variations of systems as possible. After that expect even more offshoring and automation/ AI. Customer satisfaction and employees value are empty platitudes. Remember after Alfonso Ribiero dance at the townhall Stephanie shared her story with everyone about her growth through being let go following a merger? Foreshadowing

Absolutely not. Forgetting the outsourcing fiasco, FIS will follow suit with other big companies later his year…layoffs due to AI. If you’re being pushed to use co-pilot in your day to day role, start looking for another job. Stephanie is saving whatever $ she can.

Overheard that in a Cognizant meeting, one of their employees mentioned the last shift being the first of other phases to transition people to contracting roles. Wasn’t there, so can’t confirm, but I did want to put that out there.

Why would you imagine that you were? This company will lie to your face to accomplish goals that benefit them and lay waste to you. They will sell you a bill of goods and then sn---h the rug out from under. Have you not been paying attention?
