Layoffs happened this week. There have been several Gainwell leadership (Managers,Directors, and VP).The engineering team laid of several members as well, which doesn’t come as a surprise since the new VP has been isolating old Gainwell staff and bringing in his handpicked clueless replacements who lack the knowledge, history, and client relationship’s. he’s pro- India and doing work offshore, including the states that have contractual agreement which do not allow offshore resources at all.

@m7 Hello,

My name is John Holland from Bloomberg Law, and have written previous stories about the company's expansion in India. I am working on a new story looking at the company's data practices that will be published in a week or two.

If you could please contact me at jholland1@bloombergindustry.com with information about the legislator who reached out to you, I'd appreciate it. All conversations will be kept confidential.

John

With all of these data breaches GW should really buttoning up security not moving it to much less secure locations and if we have indeed been losing ddi’s then it’s clear the current strategy is not working. Who would have thought that giving jobs to people who have no experience with the US healthcare system would induce such chaos? Me me me meeeee!

For those who have followed along I just got a call from my states Senators office. He was unaware of Gainwell’s actions in moving jobs and possibly data offshore. He said they have an entire division on Medicaid and Medicare fraud and waste. I pointed him to the Bloomberg articles. He said there was a ton of fraud out of India and they would be investigating into GW’s current practices. I reached out about 6 months ago and just now made contact. Hopefully our politicians will put a stop to laying off US employees in favor of offshore employment. It just seems wrong to send billions of taxpayer money to another country. Let’s see how this plays out. If you haven’t yet reached out to your states politicians I suggest you do. Alone we are insignificant but together we are mighty.

Are you Indian? If yes, you are safe.
If no, you are not safe.
It's that simple.

Crazy how things played out from the beginning. Gainwell kinda imploded from its own weight.

@ew

Can Gainwell take on anything new? They can barely keep things afloat as it is now. Everyday things are breaking.

No new implementation work anywhere? Not one state signing for new system contracts?
