Several changes lately. Has anyone heard if layoffs or another retirement offer will be happening this year?

I work for a competitor and never see Synovus on deals (particularly in SC). Does anyone work in the $50-$250MM space in SC?

Does anyone think that they’re planning a quiet firing? Making people come back to the office. Including Atlanta which is not an ideal commute for many, to be on Teams calls all day? Just curious what people think.

Heard there was a big shakeup and there were some layoffs this week, people are already out of the system and gone. Anyone have specifics?

We have already laid off 1,200 employees since 2009 - things are worse every quarter - seriously, but our executives continue to pay fat bonuses

Synovus is having major issues but I am not sure if cuts will happen. I heard that at least a dozen people may be cut in early 2014, but at the same time I heard similar things before and things did not materialize.
