Where there any layoffs today?

Don’t see anybody mentioning that anything actually happened today, so I ask was it quiet or people didn’t bother to post about cuts today. It there were layoffs I would appreciate if people posted what locations took a hit.

When will we know?

Now that volunteer layoffs are out of the way, do we know when the regular layoffs will start? I'm really hating this whole waiting game they are putting us through. In addition to stressing over possibly being laid off, we have to stress over when... — read more

The truth

The 1 in 10 fiasco bloated the company staff. HR took control and created ridiculous programs. Spending went out of control. Some of the creators are now leaving with golden parachutes and much fanfare. The man who oversaw it all has now been handed... — read more

Was it really only 300 employees?

I've found a few articles that mention the number of people Pioneer Natural Resources laid off since last week, and they are all saying it was around 300 employees. Am I the only one who thinks this number seems rather low? It would be nice to know... — read more

Useless Department/Groups - Innovation, DMO, and DevOps

To save the people that really provide a real ROI for Pioneer, the following groups should be eliminated or at the very least reduced in staff: Innovation, DMO, and Software Developers. The staffing on these group are made up of PhDs, data scientist... — read more

Field personnel?

Are production foreman, well techs, and lease operators safe from all these layoffs?

Real way to save money

Here’s an idea Pioneer, how about you move the whole midland office since most of us don’t need to be here for our job and put us in the new las Colinas office where there is plenty of space, and then sell or lease the mco office and keep the field... — read more

Purge is needed in the Geoscience group.

It is loooooong over due. So many 5-15 year folks sit back and collect big payouts yearly with little to no experience. The pioneer model encourages people to put in their 4 years then trade their spine for a bobblehead. Don’t rock the boat, don’t... — read more
