I heard that everybody but GT (why not???) is having layoffs today in EMEA. Is that right? How many have been impacted?

From almost 400 employees in Tech EHQ, only 30 were offered to stay in a different role and less than 20 accepted.
We were asked to stop any project because "we will take it from here" and at the same time we have to stay another 3 months around. Sounds like people with the right accesses can plan comfortably a server wipe on 26.6.2026
@19y yes at EHQ and would not like to share as it may be obvious not knowing who is affected on my team (it’s f’d no one is talking). Permanent contracts not so permanent these days. Nike will just buy you out, no problem.
It is a bloodbath, thanks RAT
Reached out to many people today from Tech at EHQ, so far only 1 was positive, everyone else is out. Brutal
@19 - EMEA? Which dept/function if you’re comfortable sharing
Yes I was laid off, pretty brutal. It was supposed to be a small one so it caught me by surprise. I can’t help but think that I was targeted but oh well…
@tf qualified women getting passed by left and right. Seems there is a need for only black males.
@jw number of Indian VPs in tech shows that this is the way to go
EMEA GT got their email today. Their round of “reorg” is happening next two weeks. Next week EHQ and the other ELC.
Lot of incompetent DEI people are promoted once again while high performers who speak up are gutted.
Hr is a joke
Yeah I heard of people let go. Sales and Ops
There’s been people let go in EMEA, just not in the same level as last time.
Good...tech should be moved to ITC
This is the result you get when you fail to sign Ohtani and let him go to New balance.
They all got a global role because there is no-one left in 'merica
I know people that had HR calls yesterday, non tech
No layoffs in EMEA.
EMEA here. Haven't heard of anyone yet that was fired, but I heard of a lot of promotions.
