Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

THANK YOU FOR LETTING THE WORLD KNOW WE HAVE GMAIL

Now we know why marketing won’t give us the PR we ask for. The CMO was focused writing this masterpiece as the end of year message to let our customers know we have gmail. The innovation is off the charts. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20251230219645/en/Avaya-Chooses-Gemini-Enterprise-and-Google-Workspace-for-AI-Driven-Collaboration-and-Next-Gen-Workplace-Productivity

The Google Workspace experience: takes an hour to do what used to take 5 minutes because the applications all su-k - but hey at least we have access to AI to help us write bland soulless emails I guess

This would only occur if MSFT has made it clear to Bain & Apollo that it has no desire to discuss an acquisition. Unless of course it's PD throwing a fit because MSFT doesn't want this tu-d that is boxed up and wrapped with Holy Christian Proverbs. Now he will make them regret the decision and they lose enterprise email exchange support for the remaining 374 employees. He will show them!

So, whatever customers that can't be offloaded to RC, they're offloading them to Google.
Got it.

@OP is correct. All part of the "trim the fat" strategy to get the sale approved. Avaya is done.

In essence it’s a good step, but obviously avaya is cost conscious nowadays which is also a good thing. When you keep in mind that intelligence/AI and innovation in the avaya lingo are just hollow gimmicks, while and the real goal is find a buyer all those “transformations” become easier to understand

Stop...I can't take this anymore I have to start to wear depends as I believe I peed my pants reading this.

Now why didn't he release a Rap Video announcing that Avaya is now using free-ware? Does this mean all employees will transition to chrome books? Can't wait for the Social Security Administration to learn about this 'innovative" move.

He must be so excited to show PE the savings that, for the first time, doesn't involve MORE job cuts. Santa Christ-Clause! The reason for the season.

@OP
Innovation isn't the end game here, simply PE owners moving operational cost to "free-ware" as they try and find a buyer. "Never mind that man behind the curtain" is the real end of year message.
