Headcount keeps dropping but the work never does, so you just keep piling more on your plate. Meanwhile, your manager couldn't do your job if their life depended on it, so good luck getting any real support. It is exhausting and completely unsustainable. This is a nightmare and I'm sick of living it.

@fb you're giving them way too much credit. You really think tards like goonjin would be capable of thinking of that? The only levers they know to pull are 1) send the jobs to India 2) Ad placements nobody gives a sh-t about
@e6 plot twist: The Layoff is ran by the MC's of companies like US Bank to give their employees a place to blow off steam without actually doing anything about the problem. "Bread and circus"

@e6 why not meet this person with some kindness. They are obviously having a hard time right now and don’t really have a place to say it. You could offer some insight instead of taking a cr-p on this person’s life experience.
@OP sorry to hear you’re going through it. Just cause many other industries are going through this and not re-hiring doesn’t make it ok or normal. Keep your chin up, maybe someone here has some advice in that department.
@OP then get another job. Why moan here. Layoff’s and business restructuring is a fact of life. USB layoffs are small compared to tech and other industries. Same goes for RTO move on…
