Any insight into if the building challenges could lead to an accelerated move to Edmonton? Ex. Can’t build a building on-site and therefore Imperial decides to simply lease/buy an existing vacant building downtown Edmonton? I have no legit intel suggesting if this is a valid concern of not.

@f0 Watch JW donate Kearl to SAIT for the tax write-off
Yeah...... sure..... the "move".
My guess is management hit target head count early, expedited timeline to sell Kearl while stock is high.
How lovely we all can breathe and smoke mould particles together for team building event.
@ay Oh but the mould is just behind the walls! New update this week- airborne mould particles inside the building do not exceed airborne mould particles outside the building. So we’re all good!
They will renovate the existing old building that has asbestos and mould and cram us in there shoulder to shoulder
No building will be leased, can stay at QP longer if Scona is delayed
It’s standard for commercial building leases to have the optionality to extend the lease for fixed terms. I would imagine in the event of a delay the QP campus would continue to be used beyond 2028 for a few more years with lease extensions
