What do you all think is the future of Dental and Disability products?
Have heard about old, clunky legacy systems that are complicated/messy, negative impacts of offshoring, disorganized teams, etc.
Those are core products within USB and worried if they aren't performing well, how that would impact job security...
Also know know how Group Life is doing?

These are two of the most poorly managed teams. But all of US Digital is failing.
Results of heavy offshoring. Loss of talented onshore FTEs.
@r2 this is true. Quadient emails cost money and Met stopped paying for it. It's all quite hilarious to witness.
I can say the quadient disability correspondence system is failing and will just worse. They fired all of us on shore who did requirements for it and moved it off shore untrained workers. Legacy cct and ICM run circles around it but the brain trust is going to die on the new one and take customers with it. As Wells Fargo how it’s going lol Anthony’s leadership is gutting disability for to just to try and save a dime. Now they’re trying to hire more on shore bit there is nobody left who knows what they are doing and to train them. So I’d say disability will be waning.
@dn Cut him (and me) a break. It's a big company. Not everyone know every TLA.
The 200 Park braintrust will sell off units to try to get the share price to $100 for the almighty shareholders.
@dn ShadowOps at again I see. Lemme guess, must be one of those sitting 4th floor in the glass fishbowl area.
Disability is an utter sh-tshow. The SLT is so out of touch with the level of burnout in disability its almost comical. They just keep coming up with new useless trinkets (Pin it Forward) instead of actual solutions or recognition that matters in the rapidly declining US economy.
@bb wow, maybe learn about the company you work for.
@am What is UKL? Why is it shiny and good?
MetLifeDental has been on the decline for quite some time, with dentists leaving the network in droves, year after year. Seems like Met wants to run the business into the ground and maybe get some tax breaks out of it. If you want to be in a core USB product, find yourself a job in the sparkly, shiny RIS darling called UKL. It would help if you are Asian. That's where it's at.
It's Met vs Delta and both are pure cr-p. Neither want to pay for anything.
