Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Any updates about 2/19?

Is tomorrow really happening? Anyone know what depts may be on the chopping block? I know it might be inevitable, but w/ my wife's cancer treatment it's even more stressful.

@OP it's happening. We are loosing valued people and no one can tell me that anyone in HIH will be able to ramp up to their level of expertise for years to come. If I'm on the chopping block, so be it. Don't think I can stomach anymore BS from SLT or their a-s kissing middle management anymore.

This thread lost the plot and we so clearly have people trolling on here pretending to be from India trying to agitate.

Good luck to everyone this month.

Usually happens on a non-pay week so I'm not sure it will happen tomorrow. Probably next week or sometime in March

@c7 I’m so sad for this hate in your heart. I hope you heal yourself and find some peace. It’s very obvious that you’re dealing with an inferiority complex and it’s driven you to be unkind online - in a space that is clearly not meant for this type of behavior.

May everyone on these threads be well and eventually get benefits from whatever the outcomes are tomorrow. It will take time for all of us to move forward whether we are eliminated or not. It’s tough times, but we will find a way forward.

Tomorrow will be severe across the entire organization.

If you are cut, it actually works out better than the VRP as you will remain employed through April or May, depending on your state's WARN rules. Severance then starts after that and you can then get unemployment after your severance runs out if you haven't found another job by then.
