I managed to survive a huge layoff at Google and two big layoffs at Oracle. All were handled this way.

only 10k confirmed by Slack count, in our team all affected disappeared from Slack immediately
so call me skeptical about 30k, it may very well total into it in the end, but definitely not tonight
