Be cautious of what you take from this forum -- there is a bias. People paranoid, with a negative mindset, or disgruntled are more likely to be on here -- that should be obvious.
Additionally anyone can post on here -- and if a Chinese group went through the trouble hack into the company, then this is low hanging fruit for any country that wants to cause chaos in the US economy. Just pop on an anonymous forum, and spew off rumors about upcoming layoffs -- incredibly easy way to manipulate the stock market.

@q9 Agreed
@q9 Never going to happen. Keep wasting your cycles,
@OP duh!!!
@zr Rule of thumb: never trust a manager, especially from India. Sorry, but tech corporations created this situation themselves.
F5 will not improve until all the egoistic,d-mb architects (and their supports) and senior management from southern region of India are removed. Those folks are like cancer for F5 (rather any company) and should be cutoff. They are the culprits, removing many talented developers to make room for their own people. Yes they are there for 10, 15 or 20 years doing nothing but politics.
F5’s dodgy practices and unethical actions against its employees have created lifelong enemies
Hr has entered the chat. 😅
Why you say what people say in this forum are biased?
Do you know how many engineers carrier been destroyed by those Indian management?
Do you know how for there own interest they spoiled the product qualities, recruited there own friends and families ?
@OP none of the layoff rumors were unfounded. “You come in here spreading truth and your experiences with this terrible company and yall are just trying to tear it down and be mean!”
Meanwhile
@hx Freedom of speech ya twit
@dh f5 let me go ages ago and my life hasn’t been this good in years. I still come here specifically to pick on the company and scare its investors because they hate it and send online goons to help stem the disgust and we just don’t care. I hope HQ falls over goes bo-m in the next earthquake
Be cautious of f5 damage control bootlickers here. They’re here to try stemming the hatred for this company and its practices over the past five years. So don’t let these fools gaslight you. It’s f5 that’s shady- not us. THANK U 4 YER ATTN TO DIS MATTAH
I swear to christ one more person who cries a river over stock price as if it means anything. So juvenile
@j4 Dude only day traders look at stock short term. You think public opinion represents the the long term value of a company, you will lose every time.
@hd “bringing down morale of all employees” yes, forum posters are bringing down the morale of employees while FLD is trying to bring up the moral by bringing down the stock from $348 ——~> $225 a share
@es Nonsense, some spend time here as a hobby, after work. Nobody needs your parenting.
@dh We are here to fulfill responsibilities and exchange our time and skills for payment—nothing more. If your contract includes duties such as providing assistance or boosting morale, then those are part of your job. Conducting business is not the same as babysitting or creating a "family" environment.
@hx I took these concerns directly to multiple execs and got laid off for my trouble. What else do you suggest the 6k+ do about it?
@hw then LEAVE. Either try to fix it at work, raise the issue at work OR LEAVE F5. Dragging the entire company through the mud affects everyone. Everyone, 6k+ onboard the boat pointed in the wrong direction, and instead of trying to get it pointed in the right direction, you want to tip the boat.
@hd "bringing down the morale of all employees" - morale is going down, not here, but at company meetings and day-to-day interactions with clueless coworkers with inflated egos
@ex Because you've already given up. Look at the tone, everyone has effectively given up and throwing up their hands, intellectual surrender. Do you think your words on here will be heard by upper management and bring about change? Nope.
What you're really accomplishing is bringing down the morale of all employees. Making the situation worse.
@es why?
Someone showed me this thread... anyone who spends time here needs to leave F5.
@d7 You need some prozac
@d7 what have you done to help instead of being a pessimistic nihilistic troll. Obviously you aren't that concerned because instead of trying to make it better, you're a debby downer on forums
@cz if the stock price is a fugazi then this entire company is a fugazi because f5 does nothing to deserve to be at a $200 stock valuation. It is a security company that has been breached and exposed for being amateurs.
So you’re right the. F in F5 stands for fugazi
@cj Yea stock price. Great metric. Fugazi. it's a wazzy it's a woozy.
@av I'm glad you used amazon in your examples. They are truly the crown jewel. Certainly no layoffs happen at amazon, meta, google -- you should go work for them.
@OP your funny!!! F5s current stock price is a result of their incompentance
@aq this tells it like it is
oh PUHLEASE. Low hanging fruit? Is that why Amazon, Meta, Palo Alto, Google get breached having their entire source code stolen like we did? oh wait, no….. just f5. why? because of gross negligence, incompetent middle managers who contribute nothing to the security outlook of the company , laying off the best engineers and replacing them with people from infosys , laying off more people to push stock prices up purely for profitability without caring about our customers and their security ,
@OP While professional hackers spend years honing their craft, a truly clueless managers and consultants can wipe out productivity, morale, and half the budget before lunch. No malware and breaking networks required. If hackers break systems, these managers and VPs break spirits, which in many organizations is arguably the far greater catastrophe.
