@OP is either from management or a bootlicker trying to justify how things are done at T-Mobile.
If you want to know how things should be done with transparency when layoffs happen, read the following memo from Verizon CEO, Dan Shulman, written to all employees.
www.verizon.com/about/news/building-stronger-verizon
In this memo, Dan Shulman, was transparent about eliminating 13,000 jobs starting in November 2025.
No, they did not say to go look at the WARN notices after 3 months to get the estimate of laid off employees.
No, they did not say that all layoffs are not yet done, so we cannot give any numbers. They said upfront the total number of layoffs planned.
What Verizon did is what companies do when they plan large number of layoffs. They state up front how many positions they plan to eliminate. Do a search and you will find plenty of such transparent announcements.
Now look at what T-Mobile did. All they did was to confirm "some changes while continuing to hire". No numbers, no transparency to its employees and shareholders. No rationale about why the layoffs are happening. No one is looking for the exact number of positions eliminated to the digit. They could have at least given a rough estimate. 1,000? 2,000? 5,000? 10,000?
If this is not withholding information and being evasive, what is?
